Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.   


Date August 26  

Lunch Hot dog or chili cheese dog, baked beans, carrots, fruit, and milk.  


Announcements


  1. The library is closed periods 1-4 today for STAR testing. Students should report to the study hall room.

  2. St. Anthony Youth Night is tonight @ 7:30 in the church rectory. All HS students are welcome!

  3. Hearing screenings are this Friday (8/28) in the K-12 Conference Room. Odd-numbered grades will be called down starting with juniors at 8:15 AM—please wait for your announcement. 


Reminders

  • Juniors and Seniors interested in the EMS Ride Along Program: meeting Thursday, August 27th in the Commons. Grant Schroeder will explain the program and distribute paperwork.

  • The Leo Club meeting for all high schoolers is Tuesday, Sept. 1st during activity period in the commons. Sign up now to volunteer at fall sporting events by visiting Mrs. Birnesser's classroom during AP period with your calendar. 


Bulldog Sports

The Lady Bulldog Cross Country Team opened up their season last night at beautiful Harrison Park in Upper Sandusky. Leading the top 5 were Claire Koch, Alexa Kamphaus, Paige Luginbill, Abby Greve, and Lydia Schumacher. The girls head to Colonel Crawford this Saturday where they will race at 9:45am.


The boys' Cross Country team opened the 2026 season at Upper Sandusky last night. The Dogs finished 3rd out of 15 teams. Caiden Squillante led the charge with a 2nd place finish, followed closely by Zack Bryan's 5th place finish. Aidan Vogt was also in the top 15, finishing 14th in the 160 runner race. Joel Schumacher(44th) and Collin Sprague(49th) rounded out the scoring for the Dogs. AJ Doseck finished 65th, Ethan Basinger 71st, Nate Jones 77th, Jacob Kamphaus 95th and Caden Parker finished 113th. The Dogs are back in action Saturday at Colonel Crawford.


The Golf Team moved to 10-1 on the season and 4-0 on NWC action last night in wins over LCC and Crestview. Gage Sautter led with a 40, followed by Clark Keehn 44, Dalton Hyman 45, Mitchell Schroeder 47, Isaac Barto 45, and Griffin Langhals 48.
