This Saturday, Columbus Grove Schools will host the 35th annual Eyes with Pride Competition Band Show at Clymer Stadium. We would like to welcome all performers, parents, friends, and supporters of the many young musicians who will perform. 8 high school bands, including our own Bulldog Marching Band, will entertain spectators while attempting to earn a Superior to compete in the OMEA state finals later this fall. Bands will be judged on their technical music accuracy, musical and visual presentation, marching accuracy, coordination, and music interpretation. The show begins at 5:00 p.m., with the Columbus Grove Marching Band performing at 8:30 p.m. Come support our CGMB, and other bands in our area, as they put on a spectacular show!

Columbus Grove Military Night football game will take place on Friday, October 10th versus Crestview. Anyone with a military ID will receive free admission to the game. This is always a great way to recognize all who served, while watching some good football.  

The football team designed and purchased a sign that will hang in the locker room honoring past Bulldog Football players who went on to serve in the military. Respectfully, we would like to make sure all past players are represented correctly. If you know of someone who played football at CG and served in the military, please reach out to Coach Schafer at: aschafer@cgbulldogs.org.  (You can also find the image of the sign to enlarge on the Columbus Grove Schools Facebook page).  

This October, the cafeteria has some exciting activities planned!

On Thursday, October 9th, we’re participating in the Great Lakes, Great Apple Crunch! Elementary students who purchase lunch will get a locally sourced apple, and when everyone is seated, we’ll all take a big "CRUNCH" together! The goal is to promote healthy eating to our students.

From October 13th-17th, we’ll celebrate National School Lunch Week with the theme, “Taste the world, your school lunch passport” During this week we will be hosting a different country each day and the foods they are known for. The cafeteria will be decorated and there will be special treats each day! This is a great week for students to try some new foods they may not normally consume. Below is the menu for that week:

Congratulations to our Bulldog Golf Team on an outstanding season! This year, the team broke the overall team score record, and the individual 18-hole score record two different times. Coach Gallmeier and the team have much to be proud of, and with many players returning next year, the future looks bright!
